The Aurobindo school is affiliated to the CBSE curriculum. English is the medium of Instruction and the CBSE board administers one public examination - CBSE at the end of year X. The examination is held annually in March.
The academic year consists of two semesters – Autumn term from June to November and a spring term from January to March with winter in between. The Aurobindo school follows a five and a half day week comprising of 45 periods. The overall student / teacher ratio is 10:1 and the average strength of a class is around 30 students.
The school offers option to choose Hindi / Tamil as second language from Std II. A student has to study third language (Hindi / Tamil) till Std VIII as per Board norms.
On every Wednesday, the first period is allotted for teaching Value Education. On every Friday, an hour is allotted for Literary and Debating Association.

very period 10 minutes is reserved for visual based education through Educomp Interactive Boards. Field trips will be arranged once in two months. We are proposing foreign trip to the children once in a year. Special coaching facilities are available for Basket ball, Music, Skating, Yoga, Spoken Hindi, Spoken English, Chess and Dance on Payment of prescribed monthly fees.
Our well equipped school library subscribes to a variety of newspapers and magazines.
